Good morning ladies and happy Wednesday!! Lace up tops were on my radar last year, and it looks as though that’ll continue into 2017! I love this sweater from Dottie Couture, it’s so soft and warm and I love the lace up and bell sleeve details. This particular sweater is sold out, but they have many sweaters that are similar at amazing price points, I linked a few that are similar to this one. Be sure to check them out!

I paired it with some dark denim and my go to over the knee Vince Camuto boots. I have been wearing these boots non stop, they’re super comfortable and can be worn with so many different colors. I love this look for a day out with the girls or a casual date night with the hubby!

Who watched the Bachelor on Monday night?! (Yes I’m one of those Bachelor groupies!) I always dread when Monday rolls around, so knowing that the Bachelor will be on and I can pop open a bottle of wine makes it a little less dreadful! So far I’m liking both Danielle’s and I can definitely think of a few right off the top of my head that need to go home! Who are some of your favorite ladies so far? Comment below!

Danielle

Happy Monday!! I hope everyone’s first week of the new year started off with a bang! I feel like I finally got my life back in order from all the holidays and travel, consisting of lots and lots of unpacking, laundry and cleaning. It’s hard to believe that we’re already a week into January, I guess that means it’s time to start thinking about Valentine’s Day gifts! I always have a hard time buying gifts for my husband, I just think the guys have it so much easier than us girls. I know you ladies would agree, we pretty much always have plenty on our wish lists!

My husband and I met 12 years ago while we were both still in college, so we have spent many Valentine’s Days together. Over the years it’s gotten harder to think of gifts that are special/unique and that I know he will love; so when Jord reached out to me and asked if I would share one of their beautiful time pieces I definitely did not hesitate!

When I spotted this watch, I knew that this would be the perfect gift and that he would love the color and style. He had been looking for a brown watch that he could wear when he’s at his work meetings and on the road, but couldn’t find anything that he really loved. This particular style is made of natural zebrawood and dark sandalwood; the quality is incredible, and can we just please talk about the face on this beauty! It really is so unique, I haven’t seen any other watch like it. It also came in the nicest wooden case with a drawer on the bottom that pulls out for extra storage.

Now that I’ve let you guys in on a great gift idea for your special someone, I have some more great news to share! Jord is doing a giveaway and everyone (yes I said everyone!) who enters will get a $25 dollar e gift code and one lucky winner will be eligible to win a $100 e gift code! The contest will run until 1/22/17 and the code is good until 4/31/17.

The link to enter is here

The link for the watch I chose (pictured above) is here

Jord does sell both Men’s and Women’s watches, so everyone can take advantage of this amazing giveaway!

Make sure to enter and head over to Jord Wood Watches to check out their beautiful selection of watches!

Danielle

Sweater: Missguided (Similar here)| Pants: AG Jeans (On sale!)| Heels: Steve Madden (Also on sale!)| Handbag: YSL| Choker: Nordstrom | Earrings: Lulus

Nothing screams Christmas more than a red sweater and velvet pants. My sister got into town yesterday, so naturally we decided to do some blog posts. We have always loved doing hair and makeup, picking out outfits and taking photos. With Christmas around the corner we went for a holiday inspired look!

This slouchy sweater is one of my faves, it can be worn slightly off one shoulder and I love the v in the back. This one from Missguided is currently sold out, but they have a ton of similar styles and Lulu’s has an almost identical one; all at great price points! These velvet pants from AG are perfect for the holiday season and are also super flattering. We paired them with a pair of classic black pumps and chain handbag for the ultimate holiday look.

The rest of my family is coming in at the end of the week, and I can’t wait to spend some quality time together. We haven’t all been together for a family vaca in a while, so I’m definitely looking forward to us all being together! We’re spending Christmas here in Las Vegas and then heading out to Arizona for New Years. What are your plans for the holidays?

Danielle

It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in Las Vegas!  I had been back in Cleveland for Thanksgiving, and in the past week and a half the temps definitely cooled down quite a bit. It was a crazy weekend of unpacking, laundry, getting Christmas decorations up and opening packages (aka Black Friday purchases!) It was really bothering me that I hadn’t gotten our tree up or started decorating yet, so as soon as I got home I put myself to work. Although it’s not completely done yet, I got a good start and hope to finish this week so I can share it with you guys!

Recently I’ve been on the hunt for a cute skirt that I could pair with some over the knee boots. So when I came across this one, I knew I had to have it in my closet! I love the belt and button detailing, it adds just a little bit of flair. A turtleneck is a great staple to have in your wardrobe, and this one is so warm and soft; I will definitely be getting a lot of use out of it. Thank you to StyleWe for the collaboration!

Who else is excited for the start of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week?? It’s one of my favorites, I don’t know if it’s because I used to live in Los Angeles, or I just love Lisa Vanderpump’s dog Giggy! (He’s seriously the cutest little guy!) Who else is hooked?

Danielle

Moto Jacket + OTK Boots

Jacket: Blank NYC| Tank: Old (similar here)| Jeans: Frame| Boots: Sam Edelman (similar here and here)| Choker: Nordstrom

Good morning! I hope everybody had a great holiday and enjoyed lots of Thanksgiving food and Black Friday deals! I spent the weekend with family and friends, eating lots of cheesy potatoes and shopping. It’s always so nice to just chill out and be with the people you love most, but now it’s time to start getting things ready for Christmas and hit the gym!

With the temps finally dropping I have been wearing this jacket non stop. I ordered it during the Nordstrom Anniversary sale back in August and have been saving it for the cooler weather. It has quickly become one of my favorites, I may just have to snag it in another color! I love the moto style, and I didn’t have any suede jackets, so this added a little bit of variety to my closet.

I always love wearing an over the knee boot to add a little bit of edge to an outfit. I bought these Sam Edelman boots last year at DSW, but I just ordered another pair by Vince Camuto from Nordstrom this past weekend that were on sale; I can’t wait to get them!

Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s full go time on the Christmas decorating! I have some decorations bought, but I need more. What are some of your favorite stores to shop at for Christmas decorations?

Xoxo,

Danielle

Monday you always come around so quickly! I hope everybody had a great weekend, mine was pretty relaxing other than unpacking and laundry from my trip to Napa last week. It was so beautiful there and I got to experience a few new wineries that I hadn’t been to yet. I plan on doing a post this week on some of my favorite wineries to hit while you’re in Napa!

I got an email a few weeks back from Missguided and this duster jacket was featured in it. From that point on I couldn’t stop thinking about it, so yes with me having lack of control when I want to buy something, I ordered it! I loved the longer length and I knew this beautiful nude color was one I would get a lot of use out of.

Not only does it come in a few other colors, but the price point is amazing! The material is super soft and quite warmer than what I expected. It does run on the larger side, but I stuck with my original sizing to achieve the oversized look that is intended.

I hope everybody has a great start to their week! I started shopping for some new Christimas decorations and it’s getting me in the holiday spirit! Has anybody started decorating yet?

Xoxo,

Danielle

Leather + Jumpsuit

Jumpsuit:Reformation (Similar here and here)| Jacket: All Saints| Shoes: Steve Madden| Earrings: Nadri| Bracelet:Nadri

Happy Monday and Happy Halloween!! I find it so crazy that it is already that time of year! There’s nothing I love more than a romper or jumpsuit. They’re so comfortable and with fall in full swing adding a cute leather jacket gives it a little edge. I love this romper from Reformation, it has the cutest little flutter sleeve and I like how the length hits right at the ankle for a cropped look. This exact one is no longer available on the website, but I linked some similar options.

I dressed the look up with my ankle strap Steve Madden heels and All Saints leather jacket. A perfect look for a night out with the girls or for a semi dressy event. My sister created another fun hairstyle for this look, which I will be doing another step by step tutorial later this week to show you guys how to do this fun pony hairstyle!

What are some of your favorite ways to style a jumpsuit?

Jacket: Club Monaco | Top: Reformation (Similar here)| Pants: AG Jeans (Similar here & here) | Booties: Jeffrey Campbell | Earrings: Nadri

This past week I flew back home to Cleveland to spend time with my family. My sister was in town too, so we figured why not play dress up and shoot some blog worthy outfits!  It’s not very often that my whole family is together since my sister, brother and I are all  living in different parts of the country, so when we do get together I really cherish that quality time! It is definitely feeling like fall around here with the temps in the 50’s, which is a bit of a change for me considering fall in Las Vegas is still 80 degree weather!

One of my favorite things about fall is wearing a cute jacket to create a look. I love a trench coat, and this one from Club Monaco is so chic and soft. I love this khaki color, it makes it so easy to wear with so many different style outfits. It was definitely the perfect touch over this cropped blouse and silk pants. Everything about this outfit was so comfortable I pretty much felt like I was wearing my pajamas; cute and comfy…double plus!

What are some of your favorite style jackets for fall?

Danielle

Dressing It Down

Jacket: Blank NYC (similar), Tee: Nordstrom, Jeans: AG, Sneakers: Converse, Sunglasses: Quay Australia, Wrap Bracelet: Boho Betty (Use code ‘diariesofdanielle’ for 20% off!), Necklace: Alex and Ani, Watch: Michael Kors

Happy Monday!! I hope everybody had a great weekend! Sorry I was a little MIA last week, we decided to take a last minute road trip to LA and Newport Beach, I was pretty much in heaven! I have always loved Southern California, and having lived there in the past it kind of feels like a second home to me. I’m going to do a post this week on our mini get away and some of my favorite spots!

I always enjoy putting on a pair of heels and dressing up for a night out, but I equally love a tee, denim and a pair of sneakers. When dressing down I still like to feel put together, adding a cute jacket and accessories. Back in August I did a post on this utility jacket that was a more dressed up look. That’s what I I love most about this utility jacket is that it’s so versatile and can be dressed up with a pair of heels or down with some great sneakers as well.

Two of my favorite and newest accessories are my Quay sunglasses and my wrap bracelet. I recently did a blog post on my bracelet, it’s from a company called Boho Betty. They have a variety of really amazing bracelets to choose from and at a discounted price using code ‘diariesofdanielle’.

What are some of your favorite casual looks?

Danielle

All Black + Lace Up Booties

SONY DSC

SONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCSONY DSCTop: Lulu’s, Denim: Frame via Nordstrom, Booties: Jeffrey Campbell via Nordstrom, Handbag: YSL, Sunglasses: Quay via Nordstrom, Bracelet: Boho Betty

There I go wearing black again! I don’t know why, but I have always gravitated toward black when I’m buying clothes. The choker trend is something that I said I have been wearing a lot lately and when I saw this top on Lulu’s I knew I needed it. It is really great quality and I love how it gives you the choker look without actually having to wear one. I can tell that I will be wearing this top often, it is so soft! It also comes in grey, I may just have to order that one as well 😉

I recently got these Jeffrey Campbell booties and I think I love them even more than I thought I was going to. The heel is thick and not super high, which makes them really comfortable and super easy to walk in. And can we just talk about this lace up detail? In love!

My sunglasses are Quay Australia and have quickly become one of my favorite sunglasses designers.  A huge plus that they are really affordable, most are in the $50 range. This line has gotten a lot of recognition lately and it seems to be hard to get your hands on certain styles before they’re sold out again. This particular pair is called ‘Needing Fame’ and is an aviator style.

My bracelet is from Boho Betty, a jewelry company I recently discovered. I did a blog post about them on Monday, you can find it here. They have some really cool pieces and if you go to their website and use code ‘diariesofdanielle’ you get 20% off your order!

I hope everybody has a great Wednesday! I can’t wait to watch the season finale of The Hollywood Medium tonight, does anybody else find Tyler Henry so intriguing?! I seriously can’t get enough!

Xoxo,

Danielle
