Good morning ladies and happy Wednesday!! Lace up tops were on my radar last year, and it looks as though that’ll continue into 2017! I love this sweater from Dottie Couture, it’s so soft and warm and I love the lace up and bell sleeve details. This particular sweater is sold out, but they have many sweaters that are similar at amazing price points, I linked a few that are similar to this one. Be sure to check them out!
I paired it with some dark denim and my go to over the knee Vince Camuto boots. I have been wearing these boots non stop, they’re super comfortable and can be worn with so many different colors. I love this look for a day out with the girls or a casual date night with the hubby!
Who watched the Bachelor on Monday night?! (Yes I’m one of those Bachelor groupies!) I always dread when Monday rolls around, so knowing that the Bachelor will be on and I can pop open a bottle of wine makes it a little less dreadful! So far I’m liking both Danielle’s and I can definitely think of a few right off the top of my head that need to go home! Who are some of your favorite ladies so far? Comment below!

This weekend was our first weekend back home in Vegas since May, so we decided to have a date night on Saturday. We headed over to Lake Las Vegas, had dinner at the Hilton and walked around the village. It’s really beautiful there, the whole area is built around a man made lake; it doesn’t even feel like you’re in Vegas there. Most people who come to Vegas stay on the strip and aren’t familiar with what else there is outside of that area, I didn’t realize either until we moved here! I’m going to be doing a separate post all about Lake Las Vegas soon.
I have been loving summer knits, especially this sleeveless one from Express. It’s really hot here in Las Vegas right now (in the 100’s!), so the fact that this top is sleeveless and sheer is perfect for this kind of weather! I have also been obsessing over my lace up ballet flats. These shoes are great because they can still dress up an outfit without having to put a pair of heels on. I love the lace up detail and they can pretty much be paired with just about anything. I’m thinking I may have to get them in a nude color too!
I hope everyone had a great weekend!! I have to say Monday’s are one of my least favorite days, but having the bachelorette to look forward to makes it a little better! Who else has their bottle of wine ready for the Bachelorette tonight?!
Top: Urban Outfitters, Shorts: Not available (similar style here), Booties: Steve Madden (On sale!), Watch: Michael Kors, Earrings: Nadri via Nordstrom, Sunglasses: Marc Jacobs, Bag: Street Level via Nordstrom (Also on Sale!)
There’s nothing I love more than a comfy pair of denim cut offs. I paired them with a lace up shirt from Urban Outfitters, which I have been wearing on repeat! The material is so soft and the lace up detail is very on trend right now. It comes in a bunch of different colors, I may just have to buy a few more! I recently bought these fringe booties at a boutique in Cleveland and can’t get over how comfortable they are. I love the fringe detailing and the block heel makes them easy to wear with many different outfits.
I hope everybody had a great Fourth of July! We were on an airplane most of the day heading back to Vegas. It’s time to get back to the grind! I hope you all have a great week!
